The GE Pipeline generates 2 different types of reports which are tailored towards different types of gene editing experiments.
Kock-out (KO) reports
The knock-out (KO) report is aimed to better understand the outcomes of experiments where the expected outcomes are introduced in order to accomplish gene knockout. This report classifies indel events as edits.
Base-editing (BE) reports
The base-editing (BE) report is aimed to better understand the outcomes of experiments where the expected outcomes are SNV introduction in order to change protein function. This report classifies both SNV and indel events as edits.
