Designer CSV file format

  • Updated

This file must conform to a comma-delimited (",") text file format with a .csv extension. Each feature track should contain the keyword Region/region, a target with a chromosome, start location, and end location in the Tapestri Designer format. Add optional allele information in the form of ref_allele>alt_allele or a name for the track.

Important: .csv files that use ";" as the separator will not work.

For example:

region,chr15:90631933-90631934,C>T

region,chromosome17:74732958-74732959

region,chromosome20:31023290-31023296

region,chr17:74732960-74732961,V4

For more information on the target types, refer to this article.

Note: If the allele information is defined, then only the specific variant will be listed. If not and in the case of multiallelic variants, all variants will be listed in Tapestri Insights.
