In the Tapestri Insights menu, the Preferences dialog has two sections – Updates and General.
Updates
Check the Automatically check updates for box to automatically check for new versions of Tapestri Insights. The option Stable releases searches for only released versions, while Beta Releases includes beta versions.
General
Show Instructions window
When this box is checked, a tutorial displays every time you click New Analysis. If it is unchecked, display the tutorial by clicking the See a quick walkthrough link at the bottom left of the home page.
Download Annotations
For imported samples from .loom files to be useful, Tapestri Insights requires the annotations to be downloaded from Varsome. Otherwise, the only information the app has is the chromosome, start location, and end location for each variant, leading to less accurate analysis.
For changes to take effect, restart the app.
