|Stock (e.g., cryovial)||< 500,000||1 – 2 million|
|Prior to cell antibody staining||N/A||600,000 – 1M|
|Prior to cartridge loading||100,000 - 140,000||100,000 – 140,000|
We recommend starting with ~5x the amount of cells that are needed for cartridge loading on the Tapestri Instrument. This cell number accounts for cell loss due to cell washing and quantification and ensures the minimum required number of 100,000 cells across a number of different sample types.
We recommend starting with up to 2 million cells due to the increased number of washing steps – 6 compared to 2 for the DNA-only workflow. Prior to antibody staining, at least 600,000 cells are required to ensure the minimum number of 100,000 cells required for cartridge loading on the Tapestri Instrument.
