What if I load too many cells per μL onto the cartridge?

  • Updated

An increased cell loading concentration, above 3,000 cells/μL, likely leads to a non-poisson loading of cells, which may result in an increased number of drops containing more than one cell (e.g., multiplets).

Challenges

  • An above-average number of multiplets, more than 10%, may impact downstream analysis. No trivial approaches exist to assess cell mixing rates.
